cookie這字口語中是指「人」，但只有兩種人我們會用cookie來形容喔！一種是這邊提到的smart cookie「聰明、擅長化解難題的人」；另一種是tough cookie，用來形容非常堅強、不輕易動情的人。

Monica:　Right, and I can also read them online.
Uncle:　You're a smart cookie.

Monica:　I never knew that having a bank account was such a big 1)responsibility.
Uncle:　It certainly is. In fact, it's the first step towards financial 2)independence.
Monica:　And I just wanted to save for a car.
Uncle:　If you keep a good relationship with your bank, you might not have to save as much.
Monica:　Why not?
Uncle:　If you maintain good 3)credit, you can get a car loan. But that's another story….

叔叔：每個月都要仔細檢查，如果發現任何問題，你就可以向銀行通報。
莫妮卡：對，我也可以在網路查詢對帳單。
叔叔：你真是個聰明人！

莫妮卡：我從來都不知道，開個銀行戶頭真是責任重大。
叔叔：確實是。事實上，這是邁向經濟獨立的第一步。
莫妮卡：我只是想存錢買部車子罷了。
叔叔：如果你跟你的銀行保持良好的關係，你可能不必存那麼多錢就可以買車了。
莫妮卡：為什麼不必？
叔叔：如果你維持良好的信用，你就可以用汽車貸款了，不過那又是另一件事了……
