Rental clerk:　Certainly, sir. They're available for 5 dollars an hour and another 10-dollar deposit for each. Just remember to bring back the chairs when you're finished using them, and we'll return your deposit.
Guest:　Can the chairs be 2)adjusted to a fully *reclining position?
Rental clerk:　Yes, of course. They can be adjusted from 3)upright to fully reclining.
Guest:　OK, great. I'll take two.

Dialogue 2 Returning a defective rental
Guest:　I tried to set up the beach umbrella I rented from you, but it's *defective. It won't open all the way. Can I 4)switch it for a new one?
Rental clerk:　Sorry for the 5)inconvenience, ma'am. I'll 6)replace it with a new one right away.

對話一度假飯店海灘用品租用處
客人：嗨！麻煩一下，我想要租借幾張海灘椅。
租用處店員：沒問題，先生。椅子租借每小時五元，另外每張椅子還要十元的押金。只要在使用完畢後記得將椅子送回，我們就會退還押金。
客人：椅子可以調整成完全平躺嗎？
租用處店員：當然可以！椅背可以由直立調整至完全平躺。
客人：很好，那我要租兩張。

客人：我試著把向你們租借的海灘傘架起來，可是它故障了，無法完全展開。我可以換一把新的嗎？
租用處店員：抱歉造成您的不便，女士。我馬上更換一把新的給妳。
